We hope you are enjoying our newly renovated web site.  Most of you are probably curious about the artistic border chosen for this site.  Well, it came from the late Mike Strantz.  With each of his golf course designs, Mike would inevitably draw by hand a 24"x36" print for the course owners that would feature a custom border as seen on this site, framing two to three sketches of the holes he created.  These are masterpieces in themselves and there are only a handful in existence, as he created a couple for each course.  We felt compelled to use this imagery to frame our new site in honor of Mike, his creativity, and his design genius.  Plus, we think it speaks of the mystique and unimaginable creativity that is Tobacco Road.  Enjoy the new site and we hope to see you at The Road soon!
